Nebula | 3rd Annual Black Makers & Creatives Event

Nebula, the 3rd Annual Black Makers & Creatives event by Elevate that took place on February 16th at the Lake Washington Hyatt Regency completely blew my mind. I am still coming down from this high. Soooo much black excellence on display! Visual artists, fine artists, graphic designers, illustrators, fashion designers, authors, wineries, food vendors...  dancers, singers, models.... all representing the greatness and craftsmanship of Washington's black business community. If you'd like to see a rundown of this year's participants you can check them out here. I'm so proud to have been included in this year's lineup. The way the community came together in support of each other speaks volumes. If you missed out, don't worry! We will be back in 2026. In the meantime, for an awesome recap of this year's event check out @marktellsya excellent recap HERE

For this event, I debuted my Nebula Figures Collection which was received very well. The theme for this collection took inspiration from this year's theme, Nebula. I will share a separate blog post where I will dive deeper into the meaning and inspiration behind this collection soon, I promise. Prints will also be uploaded to my website at that same time. I will keep you all posted.

Special shout out to Fancy of Elevate PR & Cultivate the Collective. This woman is a force to be reckoned with. Her work continues to inspire and elevate so many. Give her a follow to stay up to date with more upcoming beautifully curated events at Elevate PR & Cultivate.

In all, I left this event feeling more inspired than ever! The things we can do when we all come together are endless. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. By supporting us small business owners and artisans, you truly are doing good by uplifting not just one person but a family, a community. Much love!

Sincerely,

Jes
